Based in Ludlow, the gastronomic capital of rural Britain, we sell only the highest quality nuts, dried fruits, seeds, nut/fruit & seed mixes, our own hand-made award winning range of mueslis, granolas, porridges & cereal bars, confectionery and a reasonably priced range of superfoods including: Goji Berries, Cacao Nibs and Barley and Wheat Grass Powder.

Where do they come from?

We try to buy local ingredients where possible, the oats and butter that go into our cereal bars are sourced from Shropshire. We visit our suppliers to make sure we are using the best possible ingredients. We don’t just chuck our ingredients together, we balance and blend them carefully using our knowledge of what tastes delicious. We don’t scrimp, we make sure our recipes are stuffed full of fruit, nuts and seeds. We don’t forget the flakes – they get as much attention as those fruits.

Committed to quality

Quality is paramount at The Ludlow Nut Company and starts with our suppliers. We provide each of our carefully selected suppliers with a strict and detailed quality specification for each ingredient covering size, texture, colour, moisture content and transport requirements. All dried fruit undergoes a thorough washing, sorting, inspection and scanning process. Similarly, nuts are processed by grading, shell detection and visual inspections.

Ludlow 

Ludlow is a market town in Shropshire, close to the Welsh border and nestled within the  Welsh Marches. It lies within a bend of the River Teme, centred on a small hill. At the top of the hill is the site of Ludlow Castle and the market place. From there, the streets of the medieval walled town slope downward to the River Teme and northward toward the River Corve.

Ludlow has become a gastronomic centre and at one point was the only town in England with three Michelin-starred restaurants and eight AA Rosette starred restaurants. The town hosts the prestigious annual Ludlow Food Festival.

Nothing beats a warming bowl of porridge and the award winning selection at the Ludlow Nut Company is hard to beat. Choose from Four Seed, Goji Berries, Fruit and Four Seed and Jumbo Porridge Oat Blend. All our porridges use oats grown and milled in Shropshire.

Luxury Mueslis

All our muesli is free from artificial preservatives and colourings and has no added sugar or salt . It is hand mixed in small batches for a quality artisan product. Our award winning range includes Fruit, Nut & Seed, Blueberry, Mulberry and Date and Walnut.

Luxury Granolas

Our granolas are hand-baked by us in our kitchen in Ludlow using the finest ingredients with oats grown in the UK and a very generous serving of pure Canadian maple syrup.

All Natural Cereal Bar 

Our All Natural Cereal Bar is made using local ingredients by us in Ludlow. You can really taste the Shropshire oats, butter, and honey that are lovingly mixed with juicy flame raisins, nuts and seeds.

We stock the finest selection of top quality nuts. Whether you are looking for raw or roasted, honey covered or chilli roasted we are sure that there is something for you. 

Seeds

Seeds are highly nutritious and ideal for cooking, snacking or jazzing up a bland salad. We have also created an omega mix to make a convenient, easy way to add lots of vitamins and minerals to your diet.  

Dried Fruit

Our selection of over 30 dried fruits are sourced from the finest fruit trees. Our range showcases natural sweetness as well as some tart flavours. All are great for snacking, sprinkling on your breakfast cereals or baking.

 Mixes

We have created a selection of our finest dried fruit, nuts and seeds, all mixed to perfection. The range includes: Fruits Of The Forest , Luxury Mixed Nuts, Omega Seed Mix, Peaches and Pears, Trail Mix, Tropical Fruit Salad and Wasabi Mix.

A superfood is a type of food thought to have exceptional health benefits. We only stock top of the range premium superfoods and products that are sourced from around the world. The range includes: Cacao Nibs, Chai Seeds, Goji Berries, Barley Grass, Wheatgrass & Maca Powder.

Confectionery

A selection of our finest nuts, dried fruit and seeds coated in top quality Carob, Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate or Yogurt.
